Sea World is personally one of my favorite parks. I know, I know, you are probably saying that they are all
my favorites. I admit it, I am theme park junkie, but Sea World is always a stop on our schedule.

Sea World introduces you to a whole new world. For some of us that do not live on the coast, we finally get
to see some amazing creatures. The first thing you need to know is that exhibits, shows and rides are all far
apart. Wear good walking shoes and do not forget a wide brim hat. There is very little shade. Our home has
a 2 seat wagon, and this is the best place to bring it. I found a sling works exceptional well. It is small enough
to put under the stroller, but comes in handy when seeing the many exhibits that do not allow
strollers/wagons.

Another piece of information is that the park gets opened in sections, so don't go running off to the back of
the park as soon as the main entrance opens, because you will be stopped.

There are many opportunities to feed the dolphins, sea lions, sting rays and sharks. There is a set number
of food for the animals, so if you miss the next time, just ask when they will open again. If you want to pet a
dolphin you can only do it now by feeding the dolphins or taking a behind the scenes tour. ***Be careful of
the birds when feeding the dolphins. They will try to get the fish before the dolphin has a chance. When our
oldest son was one year old, he was nipped by a bird. To our son's credit, he held
onto the fish.***

When you see a sign the reads "Splash Zone" take it seriously. The chance are very high that you and your
new camera will get wet. Also, if at a show someone asks you to stand in front of the tank and face the
audience. Don't do it.

Not only does Sea World have great aquatic mammal shows, but they have some other interesting shows.
As out of place these other shows might seem, they are worth seeing. A'Lure is 30 minutes long and Blue
Horizon are both is 30 minutes long and excellent. If you have a young child sit toward the back of the
theater so they can move around and not bother others. This show is very nice for those hot afternoons.
Pets Ahoy! is a very cute show, get there early to get good seats for the kids as the seating arrangement is
poor.

If you just need a bit of comic relief, Clyde and Seamore Take Piriate Island will sure to please. Part of the
best part actually happens PRIOR to the show. Make sure you get there early.

If you have kids, you must take them to Shamu's Happy Harbour. There you will see a HUGE
playground structure. Sea World converted an old outdoor arena, into the paradise playland for
children and adults. I have had more fun chasing our kids and sliding down the slides and climbing
on the nets. It is just a lot of fun for anyone young at heart.

If you have teens, you have to check out the thrill rides. Sea World is home to what our family considers the
best coaster in Orlando. Manta. This is a must for any coster fan.

You have a few options on tickets as well. Any single day ticket includes a second day free. They have
great discounts if you want to add Aquatica or Busch Gardens.

For the price of a full price 1 day pass you can purchase a "Fun Card" which allow admission for each
calendar year. If you think you will be back more than the two days, this is a really good deal. This deal
typically ends in May.

Food is not allowed in the park. Thankfully, there are plenty of places to grab a bit to eat that doesn't break
the bank.

Parking is $14/entry NOT per day.

What is a FAST PASS?
When you go to a popular ride, you have two choices. 1- Get in line and wait or 2- Get a Fast Pass and come
back at a predetermined time.

Each ride has a sign stating how many minutes from a certain point it take to get on the ride. These times are
updated continously through out the day and are accurate within a few minute. If the ride states it will take
over 20 minutes or more  to ride, I would get a Fast Pass.

To get a Fast Pass.
1.Find the Fast Pass Kiosk near the entrance to the ride.
2.Insert your admission ticket into the marked slot.
3.Out pops a piece of paper with a specific time range to return.
4.Get in the Fast Pass Line upon returning.

The Fast Pass line typically takes about 1/3 of the time as the regular line. We have always treated our Fast
Pass times like gold. This last trip to Disney, we discover on separate occasions, that as longs as your time
has passed, they will let you in the Fast Pass Line. For example. We had a Fast Pass for 4:20-5:20 for
Soar'in at EPCOT. Due to a lost doll, we didn't get there until almost 6:00 and they let us right in without any
effort or explanation.

Not all rides have this feature, just the rides that are popular. Also, you have to wait an hour from the time
you get a Fast Pass until you can get another Fast Pass. My fantastic husband on our last day at Magic
Kingdom, spend his time running from attraction to attraction so we could fit all the kids favorite rides that
day. He had it down to a science.
What is a Photo  Pass?
The Photo Pass is a great way for both the families to remember to get those special Disney Photos, plus it
make things easier on Disney. You need access to the Internet to view the photos from home. Or you can
view the photos as you leave the park.

The neat thing is that you can add borders, words and more to each photo, to personalize it just for you.

All the photos are digital, printed then mailed directly to your home.

Sometimes there are sales, such as I just received notice that I could get 20% off.
